Join us for our October co-working day in Sydney!
Come solo, meet your RL buddy (if they’re local), or connect with other freelancers also excited to get out of the house. Expect a warm, welcoming day with a mix of focused work time, casual chats and a practical workshop.
The space
We’ll be based in a private room inside the beautiful new Rose Read Bookshop in Summer Hill. It’s a smaller space, so we’re keeping this one to just 10 co-workers — which means a more intimate day and plenty of opportunity to get to know the other freelancers in the room.
The space has:
- Tables and chairs set up for co-working
- A lovely window providing natural light
- Access to a loo
- A sunny outdoor courtyard
- WiFi and power (albeit limited so be sure to have your devises charged)
Rose Read Bookshop has also kindly offered everyone 10% off any book purchases on the day.
There’s two-hour parking at the supermarket across the street, and Summer Hill train station is about a five-minute walk away.
The highlight
Package it up: Turn your services into ready-to-buy offers — with Sara Howard, former Writers agency owner, Beyond Solo author and brand storyteller.
Sara has tested what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to bundling services, creating tiered pricing and simplifying client choice.
In this creative, hands-on one-hour workshop, you’ll take your best-selling, most enjoyable and most underpriced work and turn it into named offers with a fixed scope and fixed price.
You’ll walk away with:
- A clear map of every service you currently offer — including the free ones you might not be charging for
- Three prioritised product ideas
- A draft client offer, pricing and next steps to bring it to market
- A signed copy of Sara Howard’s book, Beyond Solo — a comprehensive guide to the different paths you can take to grow your freelance or consultancy business
This is a workshop-style session, so come prepared to think, reflect, get stuck in and hopefully leave with something you can actually use.
