Description
As a freelancer, you’ll quote on projects a lot – or provide a rough estimate based on a client’s brief. If you get the green light at this stage, the next step is a freelancer statement of work (SoW). This is something you’ve probably been doing already in an informal way, jotting down the finer details of a project in an email or reworking the details from a previous, similar job. Instead, try this template. It’s something you can overwrite quickly, making you look prompt and professional.
This template lays out out all the parameters of a project, including (but not limited to):
- scope of work
- deliverables
- pricing
- payment terms.
You can insert your logo and details in the spaces provided, and instructions are included too. All you need to do is fill in the blanks, save it as a pdf and send it onto your client to sign off.
Please note: If you choose to use this template in a client / freelancer arrangement, please seek appropriate legal advice about any issues specific to your circumstances.
