This is a report we compiled to help our job-posters who weren’t sure what to pay freelancers, but it took on a bit of a life of its own when our job-seekers found out about it – and it’s since been downloaded and shared hundreds of times.

I just downloaded The Pay Rates Guide from Rachel’s List and it’s fabulous. I’m from NZ so our rates may differ a tad but at least it gives me a ball-park idea of what rates I should be charging for the various services I offer. The Pay Rates Report is an excellent resource. It’s actually Australian (which can be hard to track down) and is based on genuine freelancer experience. That’s important. There are pay scales out there that are somewhat fanciful estimates intended to sell you a course in becoming a digital nomad. This one is real. It also distinguishes between various areas of work so you know what might apply to your own field or experience. Also, it’s free. Get it.
